A review and demonstration of the overall threat AI poses in the world of fraud. Where we are at today and where we need to be tomorrow.

Charles Mount, CFE, Investigator and Intel & Analytics Supervisor at the Department of Labor and Industries


Presenter Bio

Charles Mount is a Certified Fraud Examiner, white-collar crime investigator, and U.S. Army Special Operations veteran with a background in banking and financial investigations. His work focuses on identifying emerging fraud trends, strengthening investigative practices, and helping organizations improve accountability through data-informed approaches. He has extensive experience conducting complex investigations involving criminal employer premium fraud, workers’ compensation fraud, provider fraud, and other forms of financial misconduct. In addition to his investigative work, Charles develops and delivers training on fraud awareness, tactical field preparedness, and open-source intelligence (OSINT) methods. He is known for translating complex fraud risks into practical strategies that agencies and professionals can apply in real-world environments. Through speaking engagements and collaborative training, he aims to equip organizations with the tools needed to stay ahead of evolving threats.
