Lunch & Learn Session

Building Trust in Investigative Interviews

Presenter: Mark O’Riordan - Owner/ Operator

New Mountain Investigative Services

Session Synopsis

In most investigative interview trainings, the topic of building rapport is heavily discussed. While rapport is not a bad thing to work on during an investigative interview, building trust should be the primary focus. Trust is built during interviews through structure, straight forward communication, and the ability to handle confrontation professionally. During this session, we will discuss techniques to accomplish the above.
